Well there is very little in this book that is not referenced info that is better read else where. The author basically just tells you about sexual teachings but does not really delve into them... just says lame things like "be interested in your partner" . Not what I had hoped for....

Sex and the perfect lover is a great guide. You must read this book. Your woman will be in heaven and so will you. The tips, the pictures provided and other information are absolutely true and there's something for everyone here. I came here to give positive feedback, and as I read through some of the negative reviews I thought, "Did we read the same book??" But I suppose it depends where you are in your mind when you read this. People think differently and so EVERYONE is not going to love a book equally.
I personally loved this book - I felt that Mabel did a great job of integrating not only suggestions for different sexual positions, but meditations and visualizations that can enhance and deepen your connection with your soul mate. Perhaps the best part is that it is an easy and enjoyable read. If you are a person who wants to understand more about the spiritual and creative nature of sex, and also wants practical tips on how to integrate that into your sex life, and you don't want to feel like you are "studying up" as if in school, I think this is an excellent book to have in your collection!
There are plenty of books on the spirituality of sex that are a lot of theory, and very long - and I find them dry and boring, frankly. There are also a lot of books that are just "try these sexual positions", and those are fine, but to me that seems like fluff when you're leaving out the "connection" part, which is the real reason people have sex anyway. I really think Mabel does a great job here of providing both (and I consider myself very sexually experienced, knowledgeable, and open - so I wouldn't consider this a beginner's handbook!).
